Longtime local retailer Connie Nielsen remembers vividly the filming of "Footloose" in Lehi. The whole community was excited to see the actors — if only from a distance. The mill was known for its high- quality flour. The flour was ground from turkey red wheat grown in Cedar Valley and had a high percentage of gluten. Richard Van Wagoner's history book, Lehi, Portraits of a Utah Town, reported that in 1925, "Lehi Roller Mills took orders for 18 carloads of flour for bakeries in Salt Lake City and California."

Place in an oiled bowl and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour. Roll the dough out into a rectangle about 12" x 8". Cut the dough into 8 equal strips.
