Open your Sandbox folder, and open "packages". Inside "packages" create a folder, you can name it anything, but for this tutorial I used "mytextures". Here is my path: C:Documents and SettingsJimDesktopSandboxpackagesmytextures. Once created, drag your textures into the folder.

Re: Help to rotate object. The updated R + Scroll is simply because the engine has advanced since that video was made. In order to rotate on the other axis, you would need to open the model in another program (such as Blender) and realign what axis you want to rotate the model on. Then you would import it back to Sandbox.

Ok so first thing.. Go to the "data/rpg/games/base" folder now look for a folder named "obstacles" if its not inside there its okay just create a folder named "obstacles", and then open it.. Now make a "#.cfg" (in this case "0.cfg") now open it up in notepad and insert the following code. Code: Select all.

Help with 3rd person view. by johnw2 » May 21st, 2010, 2:01 am. My kids and I recently starting using Platinum Arts Sandbox. When we go into third person mode on my daughter's computer, we see her character, but when we try third person on my son's computer, we don't see his character. Any ideas why this might be happening?

Create a new folder in the packages/models folder. Name your new folder so that it describes the model. The folder can also be the name of your model. Save or copy your obj file into your new folder you just created. Rename your obj file to tris.obj. Save or copy your jpg texture file into the new folder. Rename your jpg texture file to skin.jpg.
