A novel temperature-dependent hardness model for high-temperature …

In this work, a novel and simple theoretical model for determining the temperature-dependent hardness of high-temperature structural ceramics is developed. By using only the Young's modulus and melting point of a material, the model can produce predicted values that are in excellent agreement with experimentally measured data.
