Quarry rehabilitation aims to minimize and mitigate the environmental effects of excavating raw materials, recovering or improving the environmental quality of a site through a series of measures such as landform reshaping and revegetation. Rehabilitation can be achieved in two different ways, by either restoration or reclamation.
