Fig. 2 shows a schematic diagram of the cone crusher used in this work. The cone diameter is 2.134 m and the concave height is 1.538 m. The tilt angle for the cone is 1.0° to the vertical which gives an open side setting for the crusher of 58 mm, and a closed side setting of 11 mm. The side angle of the cone is 50° to the vertical.
