Q: Using it for mortar mix: 1 part ultra cement-a pre-mixed combination of Portland cement and lime and 3 parts basalt sand. Having problem with cmu (hollow tile) binding together. Sets up ok, but next day the cmu just pop off or separate. Usually use crushed coral for sand and never had problem but was looking for darker mortar mix color for current job.
